D1. Luck

No One can see or predict luck except that Almighty God.

In life most of time, we don’t get what we want
We don’t get parents of our choice
We don’t get spouse of our choice too (Even for those who do love marriage feels same few year down the line)
We don’t get children of our choice
We seldom get jobs of our choice
We seldom get money of what we desire
We seldom get luxuries we want
We seldom get peace we want

Looks we gets what we are destined
And someone else decides it what we get and when.

So we have to accept what we get.
Probably it is destiny or Luck

If we keep grumbling…
Life will be nothing but mess
If we accept it and rather enjoy what we get, it becomes bliss
How can luck be changed?
One illustration may be of help;

One time, King Akbar asked one time to his ministers:
Can any one Show me a rich person for 3 lives (past present and future) and a poor man of 3 lives.

In Hindi:  3 JANAM KA SETH aur 3 JANAM KA KANGAAL

Everyone could not

The Birbal bring two person
One Rich person doing donations and doing good deeds.
Other a beggar on street begging for food everyday.

King asked: we can see one of them is rich now and other is poor but how can you prove that  they were same in past birth and will be same in next birth too.

Birbal explained- My Lord
“Jo jaise karta hai use waisa hi fal milta hai”
To REAP As we sow
Based on this belief, I think that:
The rich man was rich in past birth and was doing good deed so the result is that he is rich in this birth too.
But since in this birth also he is doing good deeds; it is obvious he will be rich in next birth too.

Now the beggar was poor in last birth and he didn’t do any good deeds so he is beggar now also.
Since he is already so poor he is not doing any good deeds even now, he is bound to be poor in next birth even.

In science too, every action has a reaction

Moral of the story is: No matter we are rich or poor; though one way to change life is by effort
But the other way we can try to change our luck or future by our good deeds.
Good thing can be in form of time or effort or anything we can do- no matter small or big.

Perception of Good and Bad luck
There was a horse stud owner who had many horses.
One fine day one horse ran away
People said- bad luck- you lost your horse
Next day, the lost horse bring one more wild horse with him
People said- Good luck-you got one more horse free
Next day, the son of farm owner was kicked off when he was trying to train the new wild horse. His leg was broken.
People said- back luck –son got injured badly
Next day-there was a war with rival village. All able bodies must go to fight. Those who went many died. Many lost their limbs for ever. Due to his leg broken, he was exempted to go in to war.
Whole family was happy that he saved from war as he was injured.

Our vision and thinking is very narrow to see what is good and what is bad.
The things which may look good may turn out to be bad.
and the things which may look bad may turn out to be good in due course.

This is called luck or destiny perhaps.
